When architects say "no."
A great issue for architects—not architecture itself—is the power to resist saying yes to unethical expansionist projects. At LandmArch., we believe this quote raises one of the defining questions of our profession. Large-scale private developments shape far more than buildings. They transform landscapes, ecosystems, local economies, cultural identity, and the relationship people have with place. So perhaps the first question should not be "Can we build it?" but "Should we?"
